Dear Friends:

After 22+ years of ministry in music the King's Trio has decided to retire the name. Our long-time (18 years) bass player, country singer, and all-around good guy, Lloyd Amacher, has decided to pull the plug on his bass amp. Well, not entirely; he will continue to play close to home. The long drives home from gigs and practice were a struggle for Lloyd.

Royce and I decided we weren't up to starting over with a new bass man, but we are not quitting. We will continue the ministry as a duo - The dynamic duo of Big George & Royce - a remnant in the best tradition of the "King's" Trio.

Thank you for your support over the years. Please continue to hold Lloyd and the Duo up in your prayers. Royce and I will be available to do the same things the Trio always did. We look forward to seeing you all in the future. God Bless.
